Heavy Equipment Sales - Rapid City

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is looking to hire a Heavy Equipment Sales Rep for our Rapid City branch. The ideal candidate should have familiarity with heavy construction equipment.

The Outside Heavy Equipment Sales Rep will:

  • Establish and maintain strong client connections with given sales territory.
  • Travel within a designated territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with current and prospective customers.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets through effective selling strategies.
  • Create and implement a successful sales strategy to increase sales.
  • Maintain precise records of all leads, customer accounts and sales.
  • Stay up to date on industry advancements by attending meetings, training sessions, and events.
  • Collaborate closely with sakes coordinator to prepare paperwork for potential sales.
  • Monitor customer equipment quality throughout the machines lifetime and recommends replacement options as needed.
  • Handles incoming leads.
  • Committed to ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds and load/unload equipment as needed.
  • Ability to navigate customer expectations.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
